In Egyptian hieroglyphs we
find Queen Isis depicted foremost as divine mother and worshipped in
many countries of ancient Mesopotamia. This powerful Goddess was celebrated
by the Greeks and became the inspiration for the Christian image of
the Holy Mother. In these early eras of antiquity the full moon was
a symbol of the Mother Goddess and an expression of the feminine force.
Bruno Bernard has photographed Rosemarie Bowe in a serene expression
eternal as moonlight, casting her lunar glance onto a world unaware
in it's slumber of the power of it's influence.
